Partnerships for Down Syndrome
National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC)
The NDSC has been a leader in providing support and information to those affected by Down syndrome for the last 50 years. With a multitude of local and regional groups, they excel at empowering and promoting families’ interests through advocacy, public awareness, and information.
National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS)
As an organization dedicated to human rights for those with Down syndrome, the NDSS engages in various efforts across the community for advocacy and support. With the goal of enhancing the quality of life and ensuring those with Down syndrome are a valued member of their community, the NDSS’s activities range from resources and support, policy and advocacy, to community engagement.
Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress (MDSC)
By providing information, networking opportunities, and advocacy for those affected by Down syndrome, the MDSC strives to ensure that individuals with Down syndrome are valued, included, and given the opportunities to pursue fulfilling lives. The MDSC maintains a library of resources, as well as four centers of excellence, functioning as the predominant organization for information, networking, and advocacy for Down syndrome in Massachusetts.
