2024 Rosamund Stone Zander Translational Neuroscience Center Symposium

Registration is now closed! Please join us for the Rosamund Stone Zander Translational Neuroscience center’s fifth research symposium, entitled “Paving the Path: Therapeutic Development Readiness for Rare Neurogenetic Disorders” on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Harvard Medical School’s Joseph B. Martin Conference Center.

The purpose of this symposium is to celebrate recent, extraordinary advances in neurobiology and gene therapy platforms that will have a transformative impact on the future of pediatric medicine. This day-long event will highlight groundbreaking accomplishments from the translational neuroscience research community through exceptional speakers as well as posters featuring the work of researchers, clinicians and patient advocacy groups.

The agenda includes a morning session focused on preclinical considerations, an afternoon session highlighting biomarkers/endpoint development & clinical trial considerations, and will close with an expert panel on community engagement and accessibility. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with key opinion leaders and discuss the future of therapeutic development for rare genetic disorders. Following the symposium, we will host a cocktail reception celebrating the extraordinary life and work of Rosamund Stone Zander.

This conference is open to individuals from academia, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, patient advocacy groups, and disorder-based foundations. Speakers will present in-person and registration includes options for either in-person or remote participation. There is no cost to attend the symposium.
